I got my mom to start reading Dark Lover last night. I’m half thrilled, half embarrassed to discuss the books with her, because when I talk about them my obvious fangirling comes out like a tidal wave, and well, it’s my mom. I’m a grown woman, but I swear if she tries to talk to me about the sex scenes, I might run screaming.
I wrote a letter about how amazing I thought the BDB books are and put it into my university library’s copy of Dark Lover, so the next person to read the book knows that she’s not alone in
It may be sound crazy or forced, but I loved Zsadist since the first line about him in Dark Lover. My first thought was “Mmmm, that’s my guy. I feel that I’ll like him more than the others.”
I have offically converted another sinner! All she had to do was read Dark Lover… Wrath draws them all in, and if he doesn’t hook them, Rhage does. Heheheheheheh! >:D
I once had a guy from my school read out the peaches scene from Dark Lover… Never cried so much in my life.
I lent out my copy of Dark Lover to a friend about 2 months ago… She has now started to ignore my texts and avoid me in the hallways. If I don’t get my book back soon, it will be war. I don’t like having an incomplete series… It’s like an itch you can’t scratch.
I try every day to get my mom and sister to read the BDB… Alas my mom hates vampires (she thinks they are too scary), and my sister thinks Dark Lover is boring.

I started reading these books when I was 16. I stole Dark Lover from my mom (of all people) and fell IN LOVE with Wrath. I had to read the rest after that!
God, he even knew their names. Rhage. Phury. And that scary-ass Zsadist guy. Yeah, no Tom, Dick, and Harry names for the vampire types. But come on, could you actually imagine some lethal bloodsucker named Howard? Eugene?

I wish we could get a prequel to the series. I would like to know what the Brothers were up to before Dark Lover, before Darius died. They lived apart, and I want to know what their places were like. We know about D’s house, and Tohr’s, and V had his penthouse, but he didn’t live there. Where did he sleep? And how did Darius meet Beth’s mother? And how did Rehvenge, Xhex and the Shadows all hook up? So many questions!
Rhage: The place is also big enough. We could all live there without killing each other.
